Prayer requests and links /sorry no pictures

I was sick to my stomach after visiting. The genocide memorial yesterday. I don’t have the capacity to process it but it was important that we went. https://www.facebook.com/kigaligenocidememorial/

It is so wonderful to have Emmanuel here. Today we visited a project run by Aspire Rwanda which is trying to get approval for days for girls https://www.daysforgirls.org. The women were warm and friendly and proudly showed off their masterpieces.

In discussion with Emanuel, we realized it would be important to have some ways for the youth to get to know each other. This hadn’t been included in the schedule so I am coming up with a list of ice breakers for 200 people without any material.. fortunately, I do have some reserves to draw from.

Unfortunately, the clergy couple who are coming from Uganda,  have been delayed and we will not be able to meet with them until Sunday.  There are a few other complications like there is a wedding at the conference centre so we will not be able to start until Sunday morning.  These things are all in Gods hands I was hoping to share more pictures but downloading is hard with limited Wi-Fi.

• Our Time with the Emmanuel is so good.
• We got to see the days for girls project as well as the head office for Aspire Rwanda and we prayed for people at both locations
• Wendell, Emmanuel and I are feeling good.

Pray for good communication and connection with team members we have not met yet.

• That all team members and youth participants will arrive safely tomorrow
• That the youth will be equipped and empowered to be servant leaders in their communities
• Days for girls kits will be approved in Rwanda
• That God’s kingdom will come and His will be done
